Located on 22 Independencia Street of the Historic Center of Santiago de Queretaro, El Serafin Hotel stands as a landmark of the eighteenth-century architectural heritage. Based on its distribution and design, the building could have been initially used as a mesón and later on as private or collective housings.
The Hotel “El Serafín” is an important historical reference of what was the collective housing during the Virreinato and the Independent Mexico. A historical landamrk that rescued the essence, traditions and unique exceptional values recognized by UNESCO in December 1996, when our city was included in the prestigious list of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Values such as authenticity and integrity can be truly seen and sensed through each space of the building. From the instant magical atmosphere when entering the reception to the smallest and most delicate detail that decorates every corner of the rooms and patios of the property. A space that remains alive, full of stories and legends that envelop with exceptional mysticism this architectural heritage, latent symbol of daily life through the centuries in our emblematic and historic city.
